Not so long ago, life was barely recognizable for Ellie McKay, raising three children under five, battling post-natal depression, facing redundancy, and walking into the job center to claim benefits with a double pram, no confidence, and wracked with insecurities.
Fast forward to today, and life looks very different. Ellie made the firm commitment to turn it around, for herself and her family. Following this commitment, she got to work and has now built multiple successful companies, as well as having built a multimillion-pound property portfolio from a standing start.
Ellie now carves out time to add value to others through public speaking, and through her podcasts which have attracted some phenomenal guests from around the globe. It’s Ellie’s mission to make a positive impact and to help others reach their full potential.
In this episode, Ellie talks about living her life moving forward. She shares her past experiences as a child up to her adult life. She started making a crazy amount of money at a very young age. She is no stranger to depression and has been on all sorts of heavy medication, had a lot of physical complications as well throughout her pregnancy journey. She shares how her mentors told her the importance of putting herself out there with social media regardless of her sector and that the more people who know who she is the more opportunities she creates for people to do business with her. She also shares about personal brand opportunity, supporting clients, supporting family, making great connections, and we've got one life, you've got one opportunity to realistically live it and make the most of it and have the biggest impact that you can.
